This week we welcomed our new Reception children into school. We started the week with Teddy Bears’ Picnic and enjoyed getting to know our new friends. On Wednesday, we all enjoyed our lunch at school and had fun on our first full day on Thursday. The children started to read their book of the week ‘Harry and the Dinosaurs go to School’ and we talked about their thoughts and feelings on starting school. In addition, we began to sing counting nursery rhymes to help us remember our numbers to 10. |
