Diversity at Echelford

At our school, celebrating diversity is central to who we are and how we learn together. We believe that every child’s background, culture, identity and experience enriches our community and helps to shape a school where everyone feels valued, respected and safe to be themselves. By recognising and embracing difference, we are not only reflecting the world our children live in, but also preparing them to be kind, curious and confident citizens who can thrive in a diverse society. Diversity strengthens our sense of belonging allowing us to grow together as a community so that everyone is valued and thrives.  It teaches our pupils the importance of respecting everyone while being kind to all.
