This week in Reception, we have been learning all about sharks! From shark facts to descriptive pieces, we have transferred our knowledge into our creative writing which has impressed our teachers! We have been reading different sorts of books relating to our topic this week, such as non fiction, fact based books, to fiction shark adventure stories. Within our maths learning, we have been focusing on number composition. We’ve been exploring different ways we can represent numbers using a range of manipulatives, as well as using these resources to find out number bonds within our total number.
